Marta Estrada has got a PhD in Business Administration at Universitat Jaume I and a Degree in Information and Communication Sciences by Universitat Cardenal Herrera CEU San Pablo. She also studied a Master’s Degree in Commercial Management and Marketing at ESIC.
She has been teaching at the Department of Business Administration and Marketing of Universitat Jaume I from 2000 both at undergraduate and graduate levels. She was previously a teacher at ESIC, too. She has run several summer programmes as well as six editions of the postgraduate course on the needs of the elderly (“Las personas mayores: Nuevas necesidades, nuevos consumidores”). She is a member of the research group IMK at Universitat Jaume I and Comunicación y Públicos Específicos at Universidad de Alicante. She also carries out some management duties within her department.
She has been awarded several prizes like Premio de Investigación ESIC-Bancaja, Premio de Creación de Empresas by Cámara de Comercio de Castellón, V Premio de Innovación Educativa y Docencia by Universitat Jaume I, and X Premio de Innovación Educativa y Docencia by Universitat Jaume I. She has published her works at both national and international journals and she has written 4 books and 3 book chapters.
She was part of the organising commission of Congreso Nacional de Marketing in 2011 and of Congreso Internacional Docente en Marketing Público y No Lucrativo in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
