TERRITORIAL CIRCULAR SYSTEMIC SOLUTION FOR THE UPCYCLING OF RESIDUES FROM THE AGRIFOOD SECTOR
The basic objective of Agro2Circular is the extension of the circular economy in the industrial processes of the agri-food sector in Europe. To this end, the project aims at the implementation of a territorial systemic solution for the recycling of the most relevant waste from the agri-food sector (fruits and vegetables and multi-layers) into high added value products, driven by a digital tool and built on a systemic approach with high replicable/scalable potential.
Polibienestar carries out the following functions in Agro2Circular:
Development of the basic documents and guidelines for the management of (personal) data during the life of the project, as well as all ethical issues of the project.
Support for the development of the evaluation system of the Agro2Circular Circular Economy model. In this respect, Polibienestar is in charge of the development of the social dimension of the evaluation.
The study of legal and governance barriers to the implementation and extension of the Agro2Circular model in Europe.
