Policy Workshop to promote urban agriculture across Europe – Brusels, May 30th

On Friday 30^th of May, we held the Final Policy Workshop of the EU-funded U-GARDEN project in Brussels, with 25 participants from across Europe working on urban agriculture, sustainability, and public policy.

The workshop focused on discussing draft policy recommendations to promote urban and peri-urban agriculture across European cities and regions.

The event was honoured to welcome Carmen Zulita Ferrari, Urban Food Systems and Resilience Programme Specialist at the FAO (UN), who shared the organisation’s strategic actions and insights on the main challenges facing the sector today.
