On the occasion of the International Day of women and girls in science, the e-Active project consortium wants to remind the importance of continuing to fight for gender equality in all areas and in this case especially in the scientific and technological field. Thanks to projects such as e-Active we can break the gender gap by achieving greater participation and inclusion of women in the world of science and technology.
The e-Active project partners, including a large number of women, are working in a first phase, to understand the needs of older people and professionals working with older people in the use of ICTs, and to identify best practices on the use of digital tools. These co-design sessions with seniors and professionals will allow to know what actions are needed to ensure the digital inclusion of seniors and encourage social participation.
