4 June – Join us for the conference to present the results of the Dance-Movement Therapy Programme for carers of older people

Next Thursday, 4 June, Polibienestar Research Institute from University of Valenclia will host the final event of the DanceCare project, a conference dedicated to sharing the progress, results and experiences gained throughout the project. Agenda here

The DanceCare project has developed a programme aimed at improving the well-being of carers of older people, who are often considered “the forgotten ones” in the ageing population chain. This event will present the results obtained following the implementation of the programme with a pilot group of carers.

The event will take place at the Polibienestar Institute, located at C/ del Serpis, 29, Algirós, Valencia, from 10:00 to 13:45. It will be an opportunity to learn more about the work carried out within the project, as well as other initiatives promoted by Polibienestar.

The event is open to participants from other projects, as well as students and professionals interested in learning about the work carried out and sharing experiences, opinions and perspectives. In addition, there will be a practical activity led by Dance-Movement-Therapy professionals and a networking session with refreshments, designed to encourage interaction among attendees in a more relaxed atmosphere.
