Today we held an Info Day for the European Climate Ambassadors project with third-year Social Work students from the University of Valencia.
During the session, we presented an overview of the project and the main objectives of this European initiative, which aims to prepare university students to deal with crises related to climate change.
In addition, we shared the work we are currently carrying out within the project, particularly the analysis of natural disasters at European, national and regional levels conducted by the various consortium partners. We also explained some of the case studies being addressed, such as the study on the Albufera de València, the DANA and the wildfires.
The students were also able to learn about the next steps in the project, including the development of the e-dashboard, the recording of podcasts, the ebooklet and the future training activities to be carried out within the framework of Climate Ambassadors.
These kinds of meetings help bring innovative European projects closer to students and encourage their involvement in key issues such as sustainability, climate preparedness and community action.
Thank you to the students for their interest and participation!
