International Nurses’ Day is celebrated on 12 May, with the aim of paying a well-deserved tribute to all nurses worldwide who carry out this work for the whole of humanity, as well as paying tribute to Florence Nightingale, who was born on 12 May and is considered to be the founder of modern nursing.
