Improving the quality of paediatric palliative care. Pre-pilot training session

On 24 and 26 March 2026, the PALLIAKID project’s Clinical Sites Training took place successfully, bringing together healthcare professionals from all the clinical centres participating in the study. The clinical trial will last 20 months and will be conducted in five European countries: Spain, Italy, Denmark, Finland and Latvia.
The training sessions were led by Lidia Bueno from POLIBIENESTAR, with the aim of training all clinical staff in the correct implementation and execution of the PALLIAKID clinical trial protocol.
This training represents a key step ahead of the official start of participant recruitment, scheduled for 4 May 2026.
PALLIAKID aims to improve the quality of paediatric palliative care through the development and evaluation of innovative interventions focused on enhancing the well-being and quality of life of children with palliative care needs and their families.
