Polibienestar participates in the 2026 Joint World Conference on Social Work and Social Development in Nairobi, Kenya

Polibienestar is participating in the 2026 Joint World Conference on Social Work and Social Development in Nairobi, Kenya, from 26–29 June 2026, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

Jorge Garcés, Director of the Polibienestar Research Institute, took part in the 2026 World Conference on Social Work and Social Development (SWSD 2026), presenting the book *INTERNATIONAL HANDBOOK OF SOCIAL WORK*, published by Tirant Lo Blanch.
With over 1,000 participants and under the Swahili motto ‘Harambee’ (‘all for one’), this event on wellbeing and social policy focused on equity, inclusion and sustainability.
This leading international forum brought together social workers, policy-makers and community advocates to establish a renewed commitment to advancing human rights and social systems globally.
