The fifth transnational meeting of the European HORUS Urban Health project, coordinated by the Polibienestar Research Institute at the University of Valencia, is taking place in Valencia on 26 and 27 May.
The meeting, organised by the Fisabio Foundation, is taking place at ADEIT – the University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia – and brings together the consortium’s partner organisations at a particularly significant stage of the project, which is entering its final phase with six months remaining until its conclusion.
Throughout the meeting, progress made in the various work packages is being analysed, including:
– project management and coordination,
– the study of the association between urban environment characteristics and non-communicable diseases,
– the preliminary results of the pilot interventions,
– the development of the Wakamola app,
– evaluation activities,
– project communication and dissemination,
– as well as aspects related to ethics and data management.
This meeting serves as a strategic forum to define the consortium’s next steps, finalise the activities planned for the final phase, review the schedule for the coming months, and promote future scientific publications and joint actions.
This meeting reinforces the HORUS Urban Health consortium’s commitment to generating scientific knowledge aimed at improving urban health and well-being in European cities.
