Open research session: “Educating children and young people for change and democratic citizenship”

Next Thursday 16 June at 12.30 p.m., the Open Session will focus on educating children and young people to foster change and enhance democratic citizenship.

This research session will be led by Cristina Mesquita, director of the Basic Education Research Centre of the University of Bragança, and fellow researchers Luís Castanheira and Maria José Rodrigues.

The session will deal with:

1) The Basic Education Research Centre as a research and development unit;

2) Lines of research and possible international cooperation projects;

3) Partnerships for advanced training

Session time: 12.30 – 13.00h

Coffee break/lunch: 13.30h

Modality: face-to-face

This open research session is part of the programme of activities for the tenth anniversary of the Polibienestar Research Institute.

During the 14th, 15th and 16th of June, the Polibienestar Research Institute of the University of Valencia will receive the visit of the Department of Basic Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança to which Cristina Mesquita, Luís Castanheira and Maria José Rodrigues belong.
