Luis José Callarisa is a university lecturer in the area of marketing research at Universitat Jaume I’s Department of Business Administration and Marketing.
He has got a Degree in Economy, a Master’s Degree in International Company Management and a PhD in Economy (Universitat de València, 2004).
He’s been researching on his field for more than 15 years. He has written many research papers, which have been published in both national and international journals. He has attended and participated in more than 40 conferences and he has been the main researcher of more than 30 research projects that have been signed with different institutions and companies. He is a member of AENAR, where he is also involved in the technical and scientific commission. He is a member of this type of commissions for international conferences such as QUALICER or Marketing Trends as well. He is a reviewer for Spanish marketing journals like ESIC Marketing, AEDEM y ACEDE.
He has been awarded with some prizes (I Premio “Club de Calidad Cerámica”, 2005; Accésit del premio SANCHIS ALCOVER, 2006; Primer Accésit del Foro de Marcas Renombradas a la investigación sobre “marcas: Gestión y Proyección en el Ámbito Internacional”, en el XX edición de AEMARK, 2008; I Premio a la mejor Comunicación en el XV Congreso Internacional de Turismo Universidad y Empresa 2012).
Finally, he has carried out some management positions within the university and he is currently the Vice-chancellor at the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences.
