On 31 March, 1 and 2 April, the Polibienestar Research Institute of the University of Valencia and the Itaca Institute of the Polytechnic University of Valencia hosted 35 participants from the 19 partners from the 7 European regions that have been managing the EUVECA project ‘European Platform for Professional Excellence in Healthcare’ for the last two years.
On the first day, the different activities and good practices that the Hubs are developing in their regions were presented, as well as the forms of collaboration that are being developed between them.
On the second day, they visited the Interdisciplinary Centre for Simulation in Health (CESIS-UV) and then jointly assessed the development and implementation of the platform, as well as its sustainability and the activities that have recently been accepted for development and inclusion.
Finally, on the third day, work continued on the dissemination and continuous evaluation of the project and the plan for the next partner meeting in Trento, at the end of September, was introduced.
In the framework of the euveca project, a continuous training platform for health professionals and students has been developed, which also serves as a hub for European collaboration and mobility. In addition, these Hubs or Regional Centres of Professional Excellence have already been created in the 7 European regions, which collaborate within the Platform.
The aim of the EUVECA project is to promote European mobility (blended learning) and interregional learning and collaboration between healthcare professionals and students from the participating regions.
