Palliakid is a consortium of 17 partners from 10 European countries. Every year, approximately, 170,000 children in Europe die without the opportunity to receive palliative care. The inaugural consortium meeting is scheduled to take place today in Barcelona.  SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital will lead a consortium consisting of 17 partners from 12 European countries, named Palliakid. Polibienestar is trying to face these challenges through the implementation of European projects that focus on improving the social and health care received by the elderly by offering integrated approaches that allow an efficient use of social and health resources, promote active and healthy ageing and
