Tut4ind organises the pilot teacher training for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in universities

  • 11/01/2022

The third international meeting of the Tut4ind project (III Transnational Project Meeting – TPM) was held today. The online meeting was organised by the UCLL Leuven-Limburg University and the main objective was to organise the “pilot” training of university teachers planned for next March in Italy, in which higher education professionals from countries such as Spain, Belgium, Italy and Serbia will participate. The results of the latest multiplier events and the social impact that the project has generated so far in the different countries have also been shared.
The main objective of the research project “Training University Teachers for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities” (Tut4ind), funded by the European Erasmus+ programme, is to train university teachers to acquire the skills to adapt their classrooms to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and thus promote the inclusion of this group in higher education.
